So I have just finished a 6 week wellness coaching course at my home in North Wales. We had great fun in week one with energy foods - we juiced the fruit and vegetables shown to see how we can energise our bodies by alkalising juices. We also made lovely chia pudding (shown below) and shared lots of ideas to incorporate good nutrition into our everyday lives. Energy exercises followed with simple movements using yoga and chi kung to help the energy flow more through or bodies - simple morning routines were discovered. Energy balance used mindfulness approaches to live more in the moment and ways to watch those pesky thoughts that can be so draining and energy sapping. Energy Psychology was a touch week and the participants worked really hard at establishing limiting beliefs they were holding and creating great affirmations to use each day to overcome them. We then had two weeks of goal setting to make sure we are moving forward with what we have learnt and can use these tools to create real change in our lives. As a reward for our hard work we made some delicious raw chocolate in the last session, everyone went away with renewed purpose. And what a great time of year to create that change - spring is in the air in the UK, flowers are budding, birds are singing and its time to brush away the cobwebs.
